Meet our registered Manager at Home Farm

Admin

I am the Acting Registered Manager for Home Farm and have been with Anchor Care and Education for two and a half years, drawing on a career spanning teaching and residential care, including learning disability services and secure units. I was drawn to this work by the chance to make a positive impact early in young people's lives, and I value that no two days are ever the same. Since joining Anchor, I've worked alongside passionate colleagues who have shaped my approach to leadership and care.

What makes Home Farm special is the young people and the dedicated team around them, creating a calm, welcoming and homely environment that celebrates different cultures and perspectives. My priority is helping young people feel safe, valued and confident, and to actively take part in their own progress, however small the steps. Anchor is a rewarding place to work for anyone committed to making a difference, and my guiding philosophy is: "If you want to go fast, walk alone. If you want to go far, walk with others."
